Bears Bros Weekly: EDGE Scouting Reports, Everything You Need to Know for the NFL Combine, A Heated Debate (And More)

Image Credit: Kamil Krzaczynski (USA TODAY)

We’re getting closer to the combine, which means the offseason is about to heat up. ?

Appropriately, all of our content we published this week correlates to the combine in some form or another. To kick off our week, Steve Letizia scouted (and analyzed) four potential EDGE rushers that the Bears can target at every single stage of the draft.
He shares the strengths and weaknesses of players like Harold Landry, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, Duke Ejiofor, and potential sleeper Ade Aruna.
On Tuesday, DeVante Tidwell brought a little hip hop “flavor” and explained why Vic Fangio is the Bears’ “God MC” and what Chicago must do in order to take the defense to the next level.
In a recent meeting, we had a debate amongst our staff on the Bears’ largest need on defense. Chris Bocker and Will Ingalls decided to take the debate to the next level when they collaborated on a single article in which Chris explains why the Bears would be best served to draft a cornerback early, while Will believes Chicago must target an EDGE rusher.
Whose side of this debate are you on?
On the podcast, Steve Letizia joined me to preview next week’s NFL Combine. Steve has spent roughly 30 hours per week watching film on the incoming rookie class, and he discusses a variety of players to keep an eye on in Indianapolis.
Speaking of the combine … We will be there next weekend. So if you will be in Indianapolis for the event next Friday through Sunday, feel free to reach out and let us know. We’d love to meet you.
