Introducing … Guest Posts!

Welcome to a brand-new section of our site, where we are providing Bears Fans like you a space where you can publish your work.

Purpose

There are a ton of fans who want to have their voice heard, to spark a conversation, and to have experience with online publishing. That’s why we are giving you the opportunity to do so.
Feel free to use this section of our site to publish and share any articles, columns, or whatever else you may write about the Chicago Bears.
Of course, you will have to set up an account on our site first (more on that in a moment) before you can get started.
Once you do, you’ll have the ability to publish your work here, share it and people can read it just as if it were distributed on the official blog.

Goals

We have a couple goals for these Guest Posts …

  • We want to provide people a place to hone their skills, and to gain recognition by publishing their work.
  • Writers who actively use this space will be given “first priority” when we look to add more writers to our team in the future.

Some “Extra” Incentive

We are going to take our favorite guest post each week and give it some extra exposure by publishing it on our blog as our “Guest Post of the Week.”

Ready to get started?

The first thing you need to do before you can publish your work is create a free account on our website.
Create Your Free Account Here.
After you create an account, we will have to set it up properly on the backend of the website before you can start publishing. That should not take longer than 24 hours and in most cases will be done the same day.
Additionally, keep an eye on your email inbox as we will be sending you a guide with the guidelines and best practices when publishing your work.
Also, so people know who you are it would be wise (but not necessary) to create an avatar (profile image). This is highly encouraged and only takes a couple minutes. To do so, you’ll have to set up a Gravatar.
If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach us on Twitter, or send us an email: dabearsbrothers@gmail.com
I’m looking forward to seeing all of the amazing content you come up with.
Bear Down!
Disclaimer: We reserve the right to take down any work that does that coincide with the code of conduct for our blog. This includes profanity and/or graphic content. Make sure to be cognizant of your work and use this opportunity to be as professional as possible.
