With “Fuller House” premiering this month, let’s pose a question…
As Bears fans, how would you feel about having Corey, Kendall, and Kyle Fuller?
This possibility is not unrealistic. Kendall is going to enter the NFL Draft, Corey is a free agent, and the Bears already have Kyle on the roster.
We want to know your opinion — Do you think this would create conflict on the team? Or would this create some stronger team chemistry? What do you think, Bears fans?
Kendall Fuller, CB
Believe it or not, there was talk about Kendall Fuller becoming Player of the Year in college football. However, he suffered a meniscus tear that required surgery, causing him to miss a good portion of the 2015 season. Despite that injury, a lot of media are ranking him one of the top prospects at cornerback.
In his three years at Virginia Tech, he had eight interceptions and 73 total tackles. Not too shabby.
Corey Fuller, WR
He has only started two games throughout his career, but in his rookie season, in which he played every game, he had 14 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown. Corey went through a sophomore slump in 2015, as he caught only four passes for 76 yards.
He is set to be a free agent this year, and with the instability at the wide receiver position, Ryan Pace may take some of his spending money and put it towards a guy like Corey.
His numbers don’t blow anyone away, which is not a bad thing, as it means he won’t break the bank. Corey could be a diamond in the rough if Chicago decides to take a chance with him.
Kyle Fuller, CB
Already on the team, Kyle is looked at by the Bears organization as the top cornerback on the roster. His rookie season he came onto the scene replacing “Peanut” Tillman and played very much like Tillman early on, as he had four interceptions and three forced fumbles.
One could say he went into a sophomore slump last year, but by the end of the season, he was playing considerably better than did at the start. He ended 2015 with two interceptions and no forced fumbles.
The hope is that Kyle, with all the experience he has in his back pocket, will finally put it all together in his third year in the league.
Now, I’m not saying that this is something that the Bears must do, heck I’m unsure if they should bring on one of Fuller’s brothers.
But rather, I’m just pointing out that this is a possibility, and want to hear your opinion on the matter.
So, I’ll ask again: What do you think, Bears fans?
Feel free to post your thoughts in the comments below! 🙂Â
